December 20, 2016
OUSOS researcher Simon Niedenthal and Nosewise collaborators Peter Lundén and Marie Ehrndal attended the 2016 Congress of the Digital Olfaction Society this month in Tokyo, Japan.
The Digital Olfaction Society was founded in 2013. The aims of the Society include supporting the technical development of odor input to, and output from digital systems, and exploring possible application areas for digital olfaction. Previous congresses were held in Berlin in 2013 and Tokyo in 2014.
This year's congress featured 23 oral presentations as well as a number of poster presentations. Below, Marie is pictured using the "Cocktail Maze" scented VR experience.
